Precision Motorsports (PM) is a professional sim racing team, founded in 2008 by Johannes Kunkel and aspired to compete in the world’s highest divisions of virtual racing.

In the year 2010, the team has set its goals on competing in the world's most competitive and well-organized open wheel series: the AutoGP Formula SimRacing World Championship and its various sub-categories - a league that across the years has seen various real racers, amongst those A.J. Allmendinger and Alvaro Parente, participating in the races. The Precision Motorsports saga in Formula SimRacing grew to new proportions in 2009, when the team endured great success, scoring an overall second in the highest category, including several race victories.
With this in mind, Precision Motorsports will attack the pinnacle series in 2010 with no less than a championship target, having secured a strong line-up with a two-team representation in the highest series. Moreover, the team has expanded its operating largely into international, involving drivers and crew from all over the continent. The Formula SimRacing line-up is spicy mix of ascending sim racers and "sim racing veternas", each sharing a successful history from various sim racing leagues.

The website provides a brief overview of the team, including its personnel, sponsors, images and a selection of onboard laps. Whilst it is clear that Precision is mainly oriented towards buildings its own success story, we recognize the needs of the sim racing community and wish to share parts of our success. To highlight this, the team recently released a setup pack containing its complete set of Formula SimRacing 2009 setups. In the future, expect the website to be developed to provide more unique content of similar kind.
Whilst the team has already filled most of its key positions in Formula SimRacing, there is a growing need for expertise across different fields of racing and off track related challenges to solve. If the concept feels interesting, feel free to contact the team management and discuss your aspirations. And hey, as for the racing itself, the action begins March 7th with live PSRTV broadcast from Bahrain, where we will get a first evaluation of the work performed in the winter.
